Louhisaari Manor in Askainen, Finland. Since I found these fireplaces quite lovely and not like anything I’d seen, I took these photographs inside the manor, which is a rare example of palatial architecture in Finland. Construction began in the 15th century and the main building, which dates from 1655, opened to the public in 1967. Currently represented on different floors of the main building are 17th, 18th, and 19th century interior decorating styles, so I’m not sure about the time period of the fireplaces.
